Honest members of the James Randi Educational Forum aka JREF are being played for fools by slick huckster William Seger, who posts under the name Wseger or WilliamSeger. William Seger is attempting to defend fake September 11, 2001 hoax videos and photos of a plane crashing into the World Trade Center.

JREF tried to duplicate the shot in 2002 and here is the best they could do photographing from the ground near Castle Clinton where NIST says the video was taken by Michael Hezarkhani:

William Seger publicly posted on 911researchers.com that he would travel to New York City in September 2007 and duplicate the fake CNN Ghostplane Video and Carmen Taylor photgraphs, posting real pictures and video from the exact spot these fraudulent images were allegedly taken. Carmen Taylor says she was on a ferry still docked at the Battery Park pier when she took her famous photo of Flight 175 barreling toward the WTC south tower. Apparently, very near her, Michael Hezarkhani was taking a video of the same scene, which was bought by CNN and included on their 9/11 DVD."
This was the best that JREF could do from the deck of the boat where Carmen Taylor claims she was standing:
William Seger knew immediately that there was no match at all, as is evident from his posting on JREF, but he lied here on 911researchers.com and on Democratic Underground claiming that they found a location that worked. At JREF he wrote: "One more follow-up: It seems that EeneyMinnieMoe's last photo above is actually the closest to the viewpoint of the Taylor and Hezarkhani images. It's line-of-sight to the buildings is actually between the two -- perhaps closer to Hezarkhani's -- but it's from a slightly lower elevation. Below are Hezarkhani's and Taylor's widest shots:" on JREF, and then made fraudulent postings here and on Democratic Underground claiming that the exact location had been discovered.
How well do they line up? There's no match at all because the honest JREF member posted a real photo from the deck of a ferry, and the Carmen Taylor photos and Michael Hezarkhani CNN Ghostplane videos are fakes! You can see that in the space that is empty sky next to 19 Rector Street in real life, the CNN fake videos show a black building that doesn't belong there! And the building that should be there, 19 Rector Street, is conspicuously absent!
Thanks, JREF, for helping debunk another fraud! William Seger has been exposed for a liar and con-artist defending terrorists and their fraudulent videos.
Yep, It's impossible
The "black building" is Banker's trust. It does belong there, but 19 Rector would be right in front of it. I've been studying my 3D model, which is coming along nicely. It has all the WTC and WFC building, plus 19 Rector and Whitehall. We still have yet to add the downtown athletic club, and the tree line, but it's coming.
Here's what I think.
I think the video of the towers is real, and included in that real video is the WFC building that can be seen to the left of the towers. Also real is Banker's trust. We do not see 19 Rector, because the video was taken from a higher vantage point. The plane, of course, is composited in.
The foreground, including the Whitehall building, Downtown Athletic Club, and the trees, was added in front. It was shot from Battery park, from a much lower angle. We don't see 19 Rector because we're looking above it, just like the photo from the JREF guy. The JREF photo actually is a great recreation of the foreground. Bravo and a tip of the hat.
I don't think the tree leaves move at all, I believe the foreground is a still image.
I think the camera motion is faked also. Likely the original footage was some kind of HD format, allowing all the panning after the fact.

It's completely impossible that you don't know full well that this is the shot that EeneyMinnieMoe got that most closely matches the Hezarkhani and Taylor viewpoints, within a few feet in fact, not the one that you dishonestly claimed was the "best shot":

That is what I remember and what is recorded here.
1) He did not travel to NYC to take the shot
2) He appointed agents to do his work
3) His agents submitted bogus work
4) He tried to force the bogus work as job completed.
It is a shame on Seger. He still twists like a fish out-of-water on the hook trying to convince people to use imagination, which is why he attempted the impossible in the first place.
I am surprised that the "critical thinkers" who converse like shower room jocks at JREF even got a picture. At least they believe their own frothing enough to make that attempt. Whether it was from their lack of skills, inadequate knowledge, or impossibility, they did not produce what was stated and claimed by Seger.

Frankly you are the one who has made a pretty bad claim of matching a shot here and defending it is also pretty sad. If you have not noticed I agree with the majority of those responding that your (actually Jref's) picture did not do what you claimed. If it had it would have been over.
I don't win or lose anything either way William. I, as I think many, were waiting for your effort for no other reason but to get to the truth. Your failure to match the shots, or even one puts a dark cloud over your work and you either have to get out and do it right or eat the crow pie.

There are bigger fish to fry here than petty personal grudges. I can't really cop to being wrong very easily and I will try and distract you to something else.
As I said, if your post was open for edit as a wiki on your drupal site I must be stupid or something cause I had to edit it to look like vomit. Isn't drupal wiki? Cause if drupal is not wiki then I am a jerk for posting over your post and I know I can not be a jerk.

You want to call it "common sense and a little intellectual honesty" and I want to call it "imagination". The fact remains that one must alter the shot mentally to come to a conclusion. That is why you have failed in your attempt to match.
A match would need none of the "imagination", "intellectual honesty", or "common sense"; it would be look, there it is. You did not accomplish this task as simple as you claim it to be. In fact you just took another picture that has to be explained to make it work. Just look at what it has done not being the match you had hoped for?
Look, William, I know you feel some pain about not getting this yourself and that it is not the total money shot. No one does a job better than the one who wants it done. But there is no wiggle room here. It is either a yes or no, close is not counting.
