Author Steve Alten, whose recently released fantasy novel was part of a failed effort by fans and 911truth activists to push it to the top ten at Amazon, is now left begging the pit bulls of Fox and the NeoCons to help shine a light on his fiction. Anything for that return to New York Times bestselling author?
As Alten has watched his career plummet from the heights it once came the tactics to garner that coveted NY Times Best seller are eluding him. Alten's latest desperate effort to gain attention and get another of his fiction books sold as a listed topseller on New York Times?
Steve Alten wrote a fiction. A fantasy story of amazing fiction that borrows from fact to bring the reader into the story. Something Alten is known for as he brings prehistoric sharks to bear on unsuspecting swimmers. We all know that comedy is used to relive tension and dissipate anger. The Tonight Show uses it to help Americans think “someone” can take the piss on the President cause they sure can’t. Well, Alten not only wrote a fiction of twisted paranoia proportions but he now is fully involved in the fantasy.
If Mr. Alten had brought out a documentary or a non-fictional work there may be merit to his claiming the story in his book is true. But his claim is the book is a fiction and now he wants to go and argue his fiction on mass media? To what purpose Alten?
I suppose you think you can make a Walt Disney fairy tale and tell everyone now that it is true? Sort of a twist on Dylan Avery’s story? It’s hard to tell with someone who has made the grade and soaked in the oil wealth himself if he is earnest or just an author whose book is sold to those who wish fiction to be fact.
If Hannity or O'Rielly have you on to talk about your fiction and you tell them you believe your fiction what will that say to the viewers? Keep'en it real 911truth movement like there buddy. Truth is a lie and a fiction a non-fiction. Alten your hunger knows no bounds.
