Jim you are a physicist, and the researchers here have shown that the footage of planes are fake. Why dont you take the OCT'ers on headlong, instead of pussyfooting around the plane v noplane argument?
When the designers at Boeing realised that they could fly a hollow aluminium tube through hardened steel walls, do you think they contacted the military with this wonderful new application for redundant aircraft?
I propose we commision an independent simulation using LS-DYNA now that we have the building plans.

This is a waste of time and energy Jim, I'm sorry.
My blind grandmother can see that the videos of planes hitting the WTC are fake.
How can one plane crash into the realtively puny Pentagon and erupt in a ball of flame and another waltz through a giant steel and concrete mesh building of enormous strength? You cant have your cake and eat it.
Kinetic energy flows BOTH ways in a collision. A large portion of that energy is lost in friction and sound. The plane would have come to an abrupt stop in 0.2 seconds, with maybe a little local damage to the building.

Which is heavier? A ton of coal or a ton of feathers?
What would have happened if 100ton of feathers had hit the building at ^500mph? Would they penetrate the giant steel loadbearing walls, smash several floors to pieces for a distance of 155 ft and snap the core in half?

Osama In a Cave not the Picture
Osama was in a cave playing saviour and not part of the plan. When the Taliban asked for any evidence the US may have they provided only mass media and the Taliban did not accept that. Assertions are meaningless withot evidence. At that point in time Osama claimed no part but praised the actions.
Instead of providing any real evidence the US government brought the American people to war over the medias "propaganda" instead of evidence.
