ok, about me. I was a reserve element and took pride in my country. I dropped out of school when I was 15 (got a job and not a career)when my high school converted to bilingual and I didn't hesitate to express my views.
Where I was getting 90's in science I got a 49 in history (french teacher) where the lessons seemed to focus on the french shooting bb guns at the English across the river.
I resented Canada going bi-lingual since we were a multi-lingual society. I speak 3 languages (french being taught in school which I am glad I never used and forgot) one is broken Hungarian. I take pride in my ancestry even having a relative on a postage stamp for his writing. So yeah, I left my country and went to Australia twice. Kinda got me prepped for MS LOL
I got back from Oz the second time and within three weeks came to America and got married (wife lived in MS so that is how I wound up in the good ole South. I want to go North LOL)
Anyway, like I said, I resented the french being rammed down my throat and even voted TWICE for "keybec" to sepARATe with the logic that like an animal with its leg caught in a trap, it was better to chew off a limb. Last I heard, "keybec" is still in Canada.
So I spoke out... asked why millions were spent on making road signs bi-lingual when every sign is a different shape to aid the colour (threw that spelling in LOL) blind. The explanation given to me by a french friend was that it is easier for an English speaking person to learn french than the french to learn English. No parlais-no problem, just stfu (tongue in cheek here)
Do you know how Montreal got its name? It is the french version of Mount Royal. I resented them bastardizing my language, undermining my country (Sun-Life left as soon as it went bi) and I was even told by a french friend that what they were doing to Canada was called a silent war... undermining from within. Yeah, I can't stand the french with their "oh, but french is such an elegant language" and I always tell them the only animal I know that talks through its nose is a pig.
Yeah, I think I reiterated that at ATS... maybe somewhere else, can't remember since I try not to let it get to me... doing a good job I'd say ROTFL
Anyway, I apologize to any french reading this... you can call me pea soup like I grew up hearing. And you know what I call you. Anyway, I had an admiration for JFK and was only 7 when he was murdered. I looked up to America for the space program, didn't hear about the controversy of it being faked until 911 when I started looking at conspiracies.
Here's one more tidbit, on 9-12-01 I actually wrote president@whitehouse.gov and told him of my security concerns. Yeah even with age one can still be gullible/naive.
I won't go into the particulars since this is an open forum and to date none of my concerns had been addressed.
They are major... and still exist
Killtown, I can't turn the machine off! Help me!
I knew there was a chance the experiment would go awry.
Fred
LOL I thought that Dear aliens was directed at me
